Nude Life Drawing

Butlers with Bums have a 90 minute package ideal for hen party shenanigans. For the first 45 minutes your hunky model will pose completely naked in several different positions for you to exercise your artistic talents, whilst putting you at your ease with some chat and humour. Then for the next 45 minutes he will go back to his day job as a buff butler – dressed in just an apron and bow tie – and entertain you by serving drinks and playing games. You will need to sort a venue and provide any food/drinks but the company can advise you if needed.

For slightly more bashful hens, how about Neon Naked? A professional artist will give you some informal and fun tips and techniques, then life drawing models are fluoro painted and lit with UV light in a darkened room. Not only does it feel less intimidating than a brightly lit nude, it’s also more about capturing the effect than an accurately-drawn portrait so you can relax and go with the flow. You can even hire a face painter and get in on the glow action yourselves.

Again, all artists’ materials are provided and they will advise you on booking a suitable venue. They also run public classes if you’re flexible on dates.

Competitive Hen Do

Fairgame

Fairgame

Fairgame brings your fairground favourites back – from whac-a-mole and roll-a-ball derby to duck shoot and water gun clown – but for adults only. Every game has been redesigned and is hooked up to RFID wristband tech so that your party can log scores, track leader boards, and battle it out for Fairgame’s giant pink teddies. No scrabbling for change, just swipe your wristband and you’re good to go. The venue has three bars for drinks and a range of street food, both of which can be booked in advance as part of the package.

Scavenger Hunt

Compete in teams to solve puzzles, complete photo challenges and answer questions on a whole range of topics, guided by an Event Manager on the day. Simply turn up with a fully-charged smartphone, download the game app and you’re ready to go. How many people can you fit in a phone box? Can you make a human pyramid? There’ll be a bottle of bubbly for the winner and lots of hilarious photos to share afterwards. Scavenger hunts last around two hours, are based in several different areas of London and there are themed versions available; check the Fizzbox website for details.

Puttshack

Puttshack

Fabulous as the classic seaside mini golf courses are, Puttshack is on another level – and then some. There are 9 holes per game, which should take around 30 minutes. Each hole has a different theme but forget the old style windmills and dinosaurs; here you might find yourself up against a Ring of Fire, Beer Pong, or a Trivia Pop Quiz. There’s also automatically recorded scoring and a prize wheel where you have the chance to win free drinks, games, pizzas and more.

London locations include Bank, Lakeside and White City; each venue has its own food and drink menu but think burgers, pizzas and sharing plates plus cocktails – and cocktail shots (forfeits, anyone?). Hey, don’t just take our word for it; head over to our Instagram to be in with a chance of winning FREE tickets to try it out for yourself in 2023!

Foodie Hen Do

Migrateful Cooking Class

Migrateful organises cooking classes run by refugee and migrant chefs who will share their stories and recipes with your group. Sessions are held at their London cookery school and last around 2hrs 30mins including a shared lunch (or dinner) at the end, and can be upgraded to include drinks and a Migrateful apron to keep. An uplifting and unforgettable experience to start your day and great value given that it includes lunch for everyone.

Dim Sum Cooking Class

Another class where the price includes sitting down together to feast on all your expertly-cooked dishes. This one is three of your favourite dim sum: Har Gau (crystal prawn dumplings), Chiu Chow Fun Gwor (steamed dumplings) and Siu Mai (open pork & prawn dumplings). It’s a leisurely course of around 3 hours, run by Class Bento at the London Cookery School where a chef will guide your party through making the dough and fillings, shaping and finally cooking 15-18 dumplings. Eating them is all down to you.

Boozy Hen Do

Beer/Prosecco Bike Tour

With Pedibus you can blast your carefully-curated playlist from the on-board speakers and take two drinks on board per person, plus there’s a half-time stop at a pub to give your legs a rest. That’s around 75 multitasking minutes of drinking, singing, sightseeing and spin class; you can’t say that’s not value for money. Each bike seats 12 people; you’ll need to order multiple bikes for larger groups.

BYOC (Bring Your Own Cocktail)

Bring along sealed bottles of your favourite spirit (one bottle per two people of unflavoured spirits such as gin, vodka, rum or tequila works best) to this cool speakeasy-style bar, chat to the fabulous mixologists about the kinds of cocktails you like and then sit back as they work magic with their homemade syrups, bitters and juices. You get five rounds of bespoke cocktails during your 2-hour booked slot, which may include sharing punchbowls or flavoured shots.

If you’re thinking of starting as you mean to go on, i.e. with a seriously boozy brunch, check out our guide to London’s best Bottomless Brunches.

Musical Hen Do

Cocktail Masterclass & Karaoke

This one sits halfway between boozy and musical (boozical?). Your party will make, and drink, three cocktails each at an hour-long masterclass as well as sampling drinks in between lessons, which makes it pretty good value when you think about the average price of a cocktail in central London. The venues are the classic Lucky Voice karaoke clubs, so you can extend the evening and belt out some karaoke in a private room after the class from just an extra fiver per person.

Here comes another fabulous Cheapo hack! Quote the code LONDONCHEAPO for 20% off private karaoke room hire from Sun-Fri at any UK Lucky Voice venue, excluding the Christmas period. (Please note, this discount applies to the karaoke room hire, not the cocktail masterclass package.) To book, email hello@luckyvoice.com quoting the code, or give them a ring.

As if that’s not cool enough we also have a Golden Ticket up for grabs, entitling the winner to 2 hours free room hire at a Lucky Voice venue of their choice on selected days. Head over to our Instagram now and get involved in the competition!

Dance Classes

Packages at City Dance Parties come in under £30.00 per person for 1-2 hours with a professional choreographer in a central location, with the chance to video the final routine. Choosing your theme is going to be the hardest bit: Bollywood, Burlesque or Britney? 80s, 90s or Noughties? Street Dance, Strictly or Spice Girls?

Boogie Shoes Silent Disco Walking Party

Pop on your headphones at Covent Garden and you and your mates are off for an hour of singing and dancing through the streets of London to the biggest tunes around with the Boogie Shoes Silent Disco Walking Party. You get into the spirit of it surprisingly quickly and it’s great fun – plus you bring smiles to a lot of faces along the way! Check out the reviews, it’s an absolute winner.
