Not normally open to the public, Acton Depot open weekends are a fantastic opportunity to see some of the hundreds of thousands of treasures stored in the working museum storehouse.
What to expect
The depot open days take place three times a year, in April, June and September. This April’s theme is all things London Transport design – a unique opportunity to explore the depot’s collection of over 160 years of incredible design pieces from the first Roundels to the one and only red Routemaster bus.
Tickets for Acton Depot Open Weekend
Tickets must be booked in advance and cost £17.50; children under 18 go for £9.00 (and free for under 3s). Children 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Organisers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
