Summer festivals and fireworks night might be two of the main draws at Ally Pally in any calendar year but there’s also plenty going on during the winter months. This year, Ally Pally again has a Santa’s Grotto where kids can meet (and snap a photo with) Father Christmas himself, set amidst decorations and carollers.
If you’re making the trip, it’s well worth taking a look at the other winter performances and events on offer. The Victorian theatre is host to Christmas according to the Horrible Histories, while the ice rink is at its festive finest with a Christmas tree, music, and snow – and don’t miss this year’s pantomime on ice, The Wizard of Oz on Ice.
Just mooching? The East Court will be decorated with festive illuminations and you can grab a mulled wine or boozy hot chocolate from the cafe.
