Anyone can dance is a celebration of club music from around the world via the local diasporas in the UK, and kicks off at The Barbican with a night curated by Eastern Margins.
Known for championing alternative and grassroots Asian culture, Anyone can dance will see Eastern Margins amplify the dialogue between the diaspora and the local, inviting bedroom-DJ extraordinaire @nickcheo, Seoul’s Bass Queen, KOLLIN, alongside rising stars Jianbo and MEYY. Founded in 2018, Eastern Margins is a UK collective celebrating alternative East and South East Asian (ESEA) creativity, including but not limited to J-Pop, hyperpop, techno, rap, pop-punk, jazz, and grime.
In 2025 the Barbican hosted two successful sold-out late-night parties, hosted by Rinse FM and Club Stamina respectively. anyone can dance with Eastern Margins builds on that popularity, promising a night of escapism, community and joy, as well as championing emerging sounds and artists.
Note: Anyone can dance events are strictly 18+. All attendees must bring an accepted form of legal ID.
