Condo is a London-wide exhibition where 50 international galleries take up residence in 23 spaces across the city. Condo Complex is a not-for-profit event in which the art community bands together to bring some of the scene’s most unusual talents to London. For the artists, that means free gallery spaces in the heart of the city. But for you, that means a free gander at a bunch of cool pieces.
Opening times and Tickets
Opening times vary depending on venue. So it’s well worth checking in advance each gallery is open before you head out. There are no tickets required, but a couple of the galleries have a doorbell system to let you in. Just act like you belong and enjoy the thrill of being buzzed into an unmarked building like some kind of super spy.
Getting to Condo Complex
There’s something to see all across London. And for the most part, the venues are within walking distance of each other. That said, you you might want to split your pilgrimage into a couple of sessions. There’s a lot to make in. Broadly speaking, the biggest clusters are around Soho to the west and Shoreditch to the east. If you’re a completionist, three of the galleries are south of the river, so you may need to make a special trip.
Organisers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
