Emerge East returns to Barking Riverside for its fifth year, bringing together live music, street food, independent makers, interactive art, creative workshops and wellbeing experiences for a free day celebrating community, creativity and nature.
This year’s programme includes the Emerging Makers’ Market, the Riverside Sauna and Wellness Zone, family-friendly activities, and the Barking Riverside Block Party, where a dedicated open-air stage will showcase homegrown performers, emerging talent and an eclectic mix of artists from London’s music scene, culminating in a headline closing set from a very well-known DJ.
Visitors will also be able to experience a new large-scale interactive installation by internationally acclaimed artist Luke Jerram, with further programme announcements to follow.
