Pridestravaganza is a community-led Pride celebration for Tooting and Furzedown, featuring queer performers, a DJ and entertainment in the newly renovated Oberon (formerly Graveney & Meadow) just a 2-minute walk from Tooting Broadway station.
It is the third such celebration, which was started after one of the committee member’s sons noted how many queer people there were in the bustling Furzedown neighbourhood and thought how great it would be to be able to celebrate pride locally.
Hosted by Jamezy, the full lineup can be found on Instagram @furzedownandtootingpride and includes Matron, Ciara O’Connor, Thomas Clarke, Karla Bear and more (subject to change).
During the day there will also be a free family-friendly street pride party in Furzedown – details for this event are also available on Instagram.
Doors 6:30pm, show starts 7:30pm, DJ ends midnight
