“Grand Sumo Tournaments or honbasho are held six times a year in various parts of Japan, with the first tournament of the year, the Hatsu Basho, taking place at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo. Each tournament lasts 15 days and features the top rikishi (wrestlers) competing in the ring for the prized Emperor’s Cup.”
Screenings will be shown in the hall unless it is closed for an event, when they will be shown in the shop.
