Hackney Carnival

12:00pm – 7:00pm
Free

Hackney Carnival is back for a day of good fun and good vibes – come along and get involved!

There will be a family-friendly parade with over 30 groups celebrating the borough’s diverse communities, with some fabulous costumes, music and performances. The parade will start at 12pm in Mare Street, where there is a performance judging area opposite the Town Hall; each group will be given a three-minute segment to showcase their skills.

The parade will then turn left into Graham Road, then turn into Queensbridge Road and continue until Albion Drive, along there until Lansdowne Drive and into Richmond Road before finishing at London Fields by 5pm.

The Town Hall square will have an hour of entertainment before the parade, including street performance, football skills and a sound system, while the car park will be transformed into a drum n bass party.

Check out their website for full details of what else is on offer, from acrobats and stilt walkers to drumming lessons and a food market. It’s an uplifting and unmissable day.

Organisers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
