Market Place is gearing up to celebrate two years of its iconic yellow and black street food hall in Vauxhall this September, with what promises to be a gin-tastic evening of food, drinks and music with TV legend and host of The Grand Tour, James May.
This is not only a mega birthday bash for the venue, but it will also mark Market Place Vauxhall becoming the first bar in the UK to serve May’s own-brand gin. An exclusive Q&A with James May will take place on the evening where he will spill the tea on all things James Gin.
Tickets are £21.60 and include a James Gin & Double Dutch Tonic cocktail on entry along with a £10.00 food voucher which can be redeemed at one of Market Place’s 12 street food traders. A selection of the vendors have created a special menu of gin-infused treats:

Gin & Duck Croquettes – Slow Roast Chinese 5-spice duck croquettes with sticky blackcurrant and James Gin sauce
Gin & Duck Salad – A slow roasted pulled duck salad with pickled fennel, roasted figs, radicchio with orange and James Gin vinaigrette

A-May-Zing Chicken – Japanese chicken karaage with James Gin spicy orange mayo and orange zest
The Rolls Royce of Rolls – Scottish salmon, avocado, sushi rice, nori with orange tobiko James Gin infused mayo, sriracha and chives
The Gukan Tour – Scottish salmon marinated in James Gin, sesame oil and soy sauce, sprinkled with chives and sesame seeds

Gin & Zest Pizza – Made in Puglia’s classic pizza dough topped with James Gin, lemon, tonic tomato sauce, melted mozzarella and Italian sausage
Wicked Fish
James Gin & Tonic Battered Haddock – Fresh Northern-Sea Haddock battered in James Gin & Tonic infused batter mix, served alongside crisp coated chips and homemade tartar sauce
