Get festive, do your bit for charity, and get some exercise before the weeks of indulging begin with this great day out (or in) in London. In past years (except 2020), the Njinga Santa Cycle gathered Santa-suited cyclists together to travel 20 km to deliver gifts to children at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. The last year it was run as a normal event, about 200 Santas joined and were lead by their reindeer guides to the children who weren’t able to leave the hospice during the Christmas season.
The route is a set 20 km distance between Richmond and Hampton, and then returning to St Margaret’s for some refreshments at the Turks Head pub.
All participants must register in advance (free), cycle the commited distance and fundraise/donate as much as possible to help reach the fundraising target.
