Superbloom at the Tower of London

£9.60 – £33.00

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 the Tower of London has sown over 20 million seeds throughout its moat, transforming it into a huge wildflower meadow. There is a free public viewing area but you can also buy tickets to wander through the moat and enjoy a closer look.

The naturalistic planting has been designed to attract pollinators and is the first stage of a project to create a permanent, biodiverse haven for wildlife in the centre of the city. The experience will be different throughout the summer depending upon which flowers are in bloom and is a peaceful interlude from sightseeing, or from city life.

Tickets are available for Superbloom only or to include a visit to the Tower of London, as well as a number of group/family options and concessions; click the ticket link for full details. Prefer an evening visit? Extended Superbloom openings run in July and August, and every Thursday-Saturday, 18.00 – 22.30, against a backdrop of coloured lights.

If all of that fresh air makes you hungry, KERB has a street food market right outside, with a number of stalls and trucks along the river. Options include original halloumi fries from Oli Baba’s, Nashville fried chicken from Lucky’s Hot Chicken and Wave Gelato.

Organisers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
