Dancing On Our Own is a riotous, genre-bending celebration of the ‘alt-divas’ of ’90s: trailblazing female artists like Alanis, Björk, Sinéad O’Connor, Erykah Badu, and their contemporaries.
The show presents brand-new rearrangements, deconstructions and reinventions of their most beloved songs, as well as anthemic tracks and cult gems from the extraordinary female artists who followed in their wake, from Robyn and FKA twigs, to Chappell Roan and SZA.
The Coveryard is an eight-piece ensemble of composer-performers who present live music shows that reimagine and reinvent the songbooks of iconic artists. Bringing together musicians from the worlds of rock, pop, folk, classical and electronic music, they love to surprise audiences with new twists on beloved tunes.
Expect unholy genre swaps, four-way mash-ups, six-part harmonies and most of all – expect the unexpected!
