Running on the first Monday of every month, the mending club at Big Penny Social invites you to bring something that needs a little TLC and learn something new.
Spend a chilled couple of hours with some potential new friends, a glass of something cold and get sewing. No experience necessary, they will provide the supplies and the know-how to get you started. Previous classes have covered invisible mending and Japanese Sashiko mending, where creative stitching is used to transform a fault or damage into something beautiful – kind of like kintsuge for fabric.
