Following last year’s residency, acclaimed poet Luke Davis returns to weave his magic once more. Known for his viral, spontaneous verses outside the iconic Globe Theatre, Luke brings his vintage typewriter to The Coral Room for one day only on 14th February.
Guests are invited to share a fleeting thought or personal memory with Luke, who will craft a bespoke, hand-typed poem in real time. Whether a tribute to a partner, a celebration of friendship, or a literary keepsake, these one-off commissions offer a rare, tangible connection to London’s poetic heritage.
To accompany the experience, the bar team has created an exclusive Valentine’s Day cocktail: a seductive blend of Código 1530 Rosa Tequila, Perrier-Jouët Champagne Brut, and Rose & Berry Shrub. Intense, bitter, sweet and utterly beguiling, the perfect companion as Luke’s typewriter springs to life.
