Queer people have lived in London since it was founded and their traces can be found all over the capital.
In recent times, we’ve seen queer people step decisively into the open, but what about those who lived through Roman occupation, the medieval period and the English Civil War?
Walking through the City of London, our guide will uncover some hidden histories: queer struggle, queer joy, late-night trysts in St Paul’s Cathedral and thieves in controversial clothing.
Details of the meeting point will be on your order confirmation and your PDF ticket; please contact the museum with any queries.
Note: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of your walk. This tour will take place outside, so please dress for British weather. This walk includes mild sexual content and themes of queer persecution.
