The Kingston fireworks is one of the largest displays in South London with crowds of 4-5000 people expected. Happening a few days later than Guy Fawkes night, it's probably your last chance for some fireworks fun if you missed out on the night itself. The event is ticketed and held in Kingsmeadow Stadium, with the fireworks being launched in time to music. There will be food stalls and fair rides from 6.30pm and the fireworks will begin at 8pm. Last entry is at 7.45pm though, so be sure to get there in time. Although entry is not free, any surplus money made at the event is going to good causes. Last year went to charities including Kingston Samaritans, the Kingston Can Appeal and towards equipment for the children's ward at the Kingston Hospital.
