This weekend is all about late nights at London museums, urban fairs, photography and plenty of wine. London Wine Week (19th-20th May) - £10 Closing weekend of the third annual London Wine Week. The event celebrates the capital’s wine scene across 100 venues across the city, hosted by Drinkup London. A wristband will gain wine enthusiasts access to self-guided wine tours, events and tasting sessions. Museums At Night - (19th-20th May) | Free - £20 A UK-wide festival of museum lates. Here in London you can participate in confectionery-based games at the Chocolate Museum, solve murder mysteries at the Museum of Archaeology and take part in Suffragette gaming at the London School of Economics (LSE). Other highlights include Banknotes and Bullion at the Bank of England Museum, open-air performances of Peter Pan in Regent’s Park and an exploration of Twitter in society at The Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising. Urban Village Fete - (20th May) | Free A free, modern take on the traditional British summer fete, celebrating design, art, music and craftsmanship. The Urban Village Fete takes place in the green space by the 02, in Greenwich, and features creative workshops, live music, talks, and international street food. Music comes from DJ Giles Peterson, Jon Hicks presents Kickmouse and Club De Fromage. Photo London (19th-20th) | £25-£36 An international photography event set to return for its fourth year. Events include a fair featuring 80 of the world’s top galleries, book signings, special installations and three major exhibitions. Weekend tickets are the best value at £36, but individual day tickets are available at £25 or £20 for concessions. Red, Blue, White: Global Colours | Free A free international photography exhibition featuring the work of 37 photographers from 24 countries, most of which have national flags featuring the red, white and blue configuration from the UK to South Korea. The exhibition explores the politics behind the colours and their symbolic connotations in the work on display.
