Ai Weiwei: Making Sense will be the artist’s first exhibition to focus on design and architecture, and will be his biggest UK show in eight years.
One of the most popular and renowned living artists and activists, Ai Weiwei will use the history of design and making as a way to think about forgotten artisan skills and what we value. The exhibition will feature his own collections laid out in ‘fields’. The exhibition is ticketed but some large-scale works are in the museum’s free-to-enter spaces.
Ticket prices include a small voluntary donation; under-11s go free.
