Most notably the home of the Houses of Parliament, and where the iconic bells of Big Ben ring out to let London know what time it is. This is a great area for pounding the pavement, and soaking in some of the city’s history, with other landmarks including Westminster Abbey, The Cabinet War Rooms and Buckingham Palace. There are green spaces too, It’s also home to the beautiful St James’s Park, and the tree-lined The Mall. Take a detour here, and you’ll find the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) which celebrates radical art and culture, nestled in the heart of the establishment.
