One of London’s most famous tourist spots, this square was named in celebration of Nelson’s victory at the Battle of Trafalgar—hence Nelson’s Column. The square is one of the city’s most photogenic, and looks onto the National Gallery. It’s also home to plenty of big events, often supported by the Mayor of London’s office.
