The square is alive, with the sound of music in June. Musical theatre fans can experience highlights from hit shows without the sting of the West End ticket prices. In fact, there are no tickets at all, you can just turn up. West End Live is an annual, open-air weekend festival of more than 30 free performances of well-established shows.
This year’s line-up at West End Live includes & Juliet, Back to the Future the Musical, Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Bonnie & Clyde the Musical, The Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, Jersey Boys, Mary Poppins, Magic Mike Live, Mama Mia!, Grease the Musical, Six, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Wicked and many more.
As with all free open-air events, early arrival is recommended, and you can’t bring your own booze to this event. Performances contain flash lighting.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, many events have been canceled. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Get all the info on what's on in London direct to your inbox.
