The London Diwali festival at Trafalgar Square attracts approximately 35,000 people each year to celebrate this uplifting and inclusive Hindu, Sikh and Jain festival of light.
Following the spectacular opening with 200 colourfully dressed dancers in the main square, expect lots more lively music and dance plus a wide range of vegan and vegetarian South Asian food stalls.
There are several Activity Zones in the square including a Kids’ Zone, a Sari & Turban Zone with saris to try on and buy, a Comedy Zone, Culture Zone and Yoga & Meditation Zone (no mats needed), plus henna and face painting.
