St Martin’s Autumn Lectures confront some of the biggest issues of our time with an inspirational lineup of speakers including artist Grayson Perry and prominent human rights lawyer and social justice activist Bryan Stevenson, the story of whose fight to save a wrongly convicted African American from death row became the subject of 2019 major feature film Just Mercy.
United by the question ‘What am I living for?’, broadcasters, activists, campaigners, theologians, novelists and artists each bring their own perspectives and experiences to the search for meaning as they explore such topics as truth, prejudice and oppression, inequality and discrimination, death, friendship, identity and the power of art and stories.
