Columbia Road is usually at its busiest during the Sunday flower market, but the area is also home to over 60 independent shops, as well as restaurants, galleries and cafés. Shops and restaurants are opening late from 5-9pm on Columbia Road an Ezra Street on Wednesdays in the run up to Christmas. There will also be Christmas trees, mulled wine, St Peter’s singing carols with a brass quintet from the Guildhall.
This year the market has a less congested layout all with market stalls run along one side of the street.
