Iconic outfits from the 360-year-old Silver Tissue Gown worn at the court of Charles II to Lizzo’s fabulous Thom Browne dress and gold cape jacket from the 2022 Met Gala are some of the 200+ items on display, alongside the Monique Lhuillier gown worn by Phoebe Waller-Bridge at the Emmys in 2019 and Billy Porter’s incredible ‘Sun God’ outfit by The Blonds for the 2019 Met Gala.
The exhibition has been directed by Alexander McQueen’s production designer, Joseph Bennett, so you know it’s going to be spectacular.
