Gin Palaces were once considered the ruin of old London town, these days, the tipple has a better reputation. The London event of the Gin Festival takes place over three days in East London featuring over 100 different Gins. Each day (except for Friday) is divided into different sessions and is suitable for anyone from the casual (but ginterested) drinker, to the spirit snob alike.
Gin enthusiasts can expect cocktails, tasty garnishes and fancy refreshing tonics. Like most alcohol festivals, drinks are redeemable by a token system rather than cash. Aside from the obvious, there will also be master classes, industry experts, distillers plus live music and entertainment.
Due to popular demand, there is now a Gin Festival in summer as well.
