Home Live Art presents ‘I’ve been looking for things that last’ by SERAFINE1369.
Acclaimed artist and choreographer SERAFINE1369 curates an evening of performance at Shoreditch Town Hall. Set on a bed of soil, this three-hour cyclical programme invites you to experience a series of repeated performances from various angles and perspectives.
Featuring a line-up of UK and international artists, including Adam Christensen, keyon gaskin, Florence Peake, and SERAFINE1369, the performances will unfold in a time-bending cycle of blurs, overlaps, collisions and transformations as each work flows into the next – again and again.
‘I’ve been looking for things that last’ is commissioned by Home Live Art to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Drawing on their legendary Performance Salons, which began in 1999, SERAFINE1369’s unique reimagining offers a bold, queer and contemporary perspective on how we experience performance in these shifting times.
Venue: Shoreditch Town Hall, 380 Old St, London EC1V 9LT
