What to expect at Lightopia at Crystal Palace Crystal Palace is known for radically changing its offering each season, and this year is no different. Award-winning and visually stunning, the Lightopia lantern and light festival includes interactive exhibits, immersive light installations, and the magical illuminated trail. Tickets for Crystal Palace Lightopia Tickets are sold on the door (if available), but it's well worth booking online before you go, as they often sell out in advance. Also note a few weekdays in November and early December are marked as "offpeak" which means cheaper tickets. Adult tickets cost a hefty (or offpeak), while kids 3-15 years old cost (or offpeak) and under-threes are free. If you're coming as a family, you can save a little with a (or offpeak) family ticket. If going by car, don't forget to book a parking spot when you book your ticket. Food and Drink at Lightopia Expect a wide range of food and drinks from multiple vendors. The full line-up hasn't been announced, but in previous years we've seen offerings from around the world, served by the usual upmarket food trucks. Getting to Crystal Palace Public transport is recommended as parking is limited and only bookable in advance. There's rail, London Overground and bus connections; Crystal Palace is the closest station, 0.3 miles from the Lightopia Entrance. Be sure to check our other top winter illuminations too!
