London Gaming Market 2023

11:00am – 4:00pm
£3.00 – £6.00

London Gaming Market is the city’s biggest (and perhaps only) regular market dedicated solely to games and game culture. It’s a regular grab bag of bargains, with everything from retro consoles and accessories to new games and general geek swag. Expect to see your fellow gamers out in droves.

London Gaming Market takes place three times per year; the next edition for 2023 will be held on Sunday 2nd July.

What to expect

The market covers pretty much all aspects of game culture, from video games to board games to tabletop RPGs. Vendors range from seasoned pros to a few private sellers, so it’s not unusual to see imported games and merch you won’t find in your usual stores.

Regular access starts at 12pm, and costs just £3.00. If you’re looking to grab some deals, early birds can get in for £6.00 from 11am (under 16s go free). The show calms down a little after 2pm so you are less likely to have to queue.

Getting to London Gaming Market

Situated in the Royal National Hotel, you shouldn’t have any trouble getting to London Gaming Market. Russell Square on the Piccadilly line is by far the closest tube station. That said, King’s Cross is within 15 minutes’ walk, making the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Victoria and Northern lines viable options too. Holborn on the Central line is also just 10 minutes away on foot.
