Storyteller: Photography by Tim Hetherington

10:00am – 6:00pm
Free

Explore a more considered, direct and visually impactful insight into war and conflict than mainstream news and doomscrolling can give you, and challenge your assumptions about war and those caught up in it.

Storyteller marks the 13th anniversary of Hetherington’s death while filming and photographing the Libyan Civil War (2011). The exhibition includes photography from across his career, a selection of his cameras and some of his personal diaries.

You can download the free map of the museum here to plan your day, as there is plenty more to see. Open daily, 10am-6pm.

Please note this exhibition includes strong language and images depicting violence. The film Liberian War Graffiti (shown in a separate screening room) contains illustrations of sexual violence which some visitors may find distressing. The film Diary (shown in a separate screening room) contains flashing lights and graphic imagery.

Organisers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
