This major new exhibition at the Wellcome Collection looks at the concept of beauty across different cultures and periods of history, and how it has been influenced by issues such as morality, race, status and gender.
With the three key themes of The Ideals of Beauty, The Industry of Beauty and Subverting Beauty, the exhibition includes historical material, contemporary artworks and new artist commissions in over 200 items and encourages the viewer to rethink what beauty really means.
They also have a great shop and cafe area where you can sit and discuss the exhibition afterwards, or buy some arty gifts.
