Wembley Park has a cool new outdoor art installation this winter. Walk through an interactive neon-light based maze with a curated soundscape to the centre, where you will find The Hourglass – a four-metre tall audio-visual storytelling sculpture from Emergency Exit Arts (EEA) and Illuminos.
The Luminaze uses energy-efficient neon lighting to create scenes and positive, uplifting messages based on the concepts of belonging and migration. As you wander through the maze, you are encouraged to think about what home means to you, how our planet is the ultimate home and so how we are all connected. Deep, huh?
It’s not only inspiring and inclusive but family-friendly, free to enter and features a neon living room. What’s not to love?
