Made In Hackney is the UK’s first fully vegan community cookery school and charity, working with and inspiring communities to share and develop the skills and knowledge to grow/forage, cook and eat more plants.
The Wild Food Walks are led by Kenneth Greenway, expert forager and manager of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park where the walks are held on selected Saturday mornings. There are some twilight walks in the summer so you can do something a bit more inspiring than another Netflix binge after work.
Learn how to confidently identify the everyday plants you can eat, plus where and when to pick them, and take home your own foraged goodies with some tips on how to use them. As if that wasn’t cool enough, this is a fundraising class and proceeds help fight hunger in the community. Book tickets here.
Converted to wild food? Check out our calendar of London’s foraging hotspots.
