Sample three courses of some of the city's most outstanding cooking for little more than a decent lunch at your local bistro. and under The Ninth This is a great chance to eat somewhere on your foodie bucket list at prices that are crazily good value: you get three courses for less than the price of a main from the à la carte menu. Expect refined French/Mediterranean-style dishes executed perfectly. Chef Jun Tanaka heads up a restaurant which is stylish and elegant without being at all stuffy; they are also famously lovely to their staff, which is probably why they are all working at the top of their game. This lunch menu is also available if you book a 6pm evening table, making it even more of a bargain. Don't miss the tiramisu, and use your lunch savings to splash out on a serving of their legendary Parmesan fries for the table; you can thank me later.
