The Black Lion is an old pub near the banks of the Thames about a 20 minute walk from Hammersmith Station.

You can get a pint for £4.50 and they have a menu with pub food including a huge plate of fish and chips for £12.90 and pizzas starting from £8.90. If you’re there on a Monday, you can get two pizzas for the price of one.

The pub also has a large courtyard for sipping your ales on a warm day.

The best way to get there is to head to Hammersmith Bridge and then enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river. There are a few other old pubs on the way including The Dove and the Old Ship.
