Feeling like it might be time to switch up your wardrobe? Join like-minded ‘shoppers’ at A Stitch to Wear’s clothes swap, where you can trade in up to 10 items for new-to-you ones. Anything is on the table — clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry — so long as it is clearn and in good condition. (No underwear, swimswear, nightwear, earrings, socks or slippers, but maternity wear is okay).
This is A Stitch To Wear’s biggest swap yet, held at Sutton College in Sutton.

For every item you bring will earn you ‘points’ which can be traded in for items worth the equivalent. For example: one point for Primark and Shien; two points Marks & Spencer, Next and Zara; and five points for designer items, vintage items and sustainable brands (like Lucy & Yak, People Tree and Thought) — you get the picture.
Book early as slots fill up fast. Stitches Academy will be running a free repair workshop on the day, where you can learn to sew on a button, patch and mend your clothes. Admission gets you an upcycled tote to carry home your haul.
