If you’re looking for some mental stimulation to go with your pint then Bardeblah is the night out you didn’t know you needed. Two teams are given a topic for debate, the teams take sides and discuss the pros and cons, while the audience is encouraged to get involved. Designed as a game with a lighthearted environment, the suspension of judgement is key as opposing and often controversial opinions are voiced and considered. Topics up for debate are a mixture of current social and political affairs that are perfect for sparking up a heated discussion and important to learn about.
The structure of the night goes from presentation of an idea, airing of views, questioning of the teams and the voting on the final decision. The event is free but tickets are required -it’s free seating so arrive early to ensure you have a place to sit!
