If anywhere can pull off an urban/suburban village fete in the middle of London, it’s Bermondsey – and they do it so well.
There’s a (very competitive) dog show, street entertainment, craft beer, a whole street of fabulous artisan market stalls and a poetry trailer. Tanner Street Park is full of food and drink traders and has a live music stage, and there’s a community and wellbeing area in the Leather Market Gardens.
It’s a truly fabulous, feel-good and lively day out with something for everyone, so head over and have fun! Highly recommended.
