An annual festival celebrating the area’s rich history and culture with events taking place in various venues around Bloomsbury.
Established in 2006, Bloomsbury Festival is a lively blend of science, arts and culture. Events have included street parties, dance and music performances, scientific workshops, interactive games, themed walks and talks.
The theme for 2023 is ‘Grow’ and this has inspired the events this year. Many of the programmed activities are free, but booking is recommended for the more popular events. The festival is also a great opportunity to visit a whole range of museums, galleries, arts venues, bookshops, laboratories and even some private buildings.
