Established in 2006, the annual Bloomsbury Festival is a lively blend of science, arts and culture. For its twentieth anniversary this year, there will be a whole month of celebrations.
Events include street parties, dance and music performances, scientific exhibitions, interactive games, themed walks and talks and craft workshops. There is a brochure available on their website that lists everything that’s happening along with a handy map.
Many of the programmed activities are free, but booking is recommended for the more popular events. The festival is a great opportunity to visit a whole range of museums, galleries, arts venues, bookshops, laboratories and even some private buildings.
Organisers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
