Imagine combining a car boot sale, a vintage market and a treasure trail? No imagination needed! The good folk of Jumble Trail have done it for you, this time setting up in Clapton. It is a community event where people set up stalls from old bric-a-brac, vintage clothes, cakes and assorted items. Residents invite the community into their abodes and trade from their front or back garden to leave the pavement clear for meandering.
Follow the trail around Chatsworth Road by registering, then use the colour-coded map to mooch your way around the various stalls. There are over 150 stalls selling wares including books, music, homemade sauces, hand crafted items, toys and baked goods. It is free to visit, and you can keep an eye on future events coming to your area at the main Jumble Trail site.
