Ever wanted to wander around a spaceship? Luckily for you, one has landed at Central Saint Martin’s, King’s Cross, and you’re invited to take a look inside. On the first Wednesday of each month, visitors can step aboard the Futuro House for a tour with the artist and CSM alumnus Craig Barnes.
The spaceship-style, prefabricated Futuro house is a restoration project, originally designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen in the late 60s. It was supposed to be on loan to Central Saint Martins for one year in 2016 but has been extended until summer 2017 due to popular demand, so booking is essential. Tours are in the evening and there are two sessions per date.
