Make a 500ml jar of kimchi to take away and ferment at home at this hands-on Fermentation Workshop in Penge.

Everything you need is provided and no prior experience of fermentation is needed. Kimchi – a delicious spicy Korean condiment – is not only cheap to make and versatile, it’s fabulous for your gut health. The recipe used in this class is suitable for vegans and will be ready to eat within a week. Just don’t forget to burp your jars.

The workshop will be held in Kingswood Road, Penge SE20 7BL; the precise location will be provided 24 hours before the event.
