Following a sold-out event in June, London Jerk Festival keeps the summer vibe going in early September. This time, the festival will be by the canal in Hackney with food, music face painting, cooking demos, rum punch, record stores and plenty more.
Last time the line-up included legendary DJ Don Letts, Fatman Sound and the Wreck It Up Crew, steel bands and dancers. But, as the name suggests, it’s all about what’s on the food menu. Expect plenty of different types of jerk including classic jerk chicken, vegan jerk, jerk Pork, and jerk dogs. If you can handle the heat, then you can take on the Hot Wing Challenge or the Patty Eating Competition.
