Njinga Santa Charity Cycle in aid of Shooting Star Children’s Hospice

8:30am
Free

Fancy playing Santa in the best possible way? On Saturday the 3rd December, Njinga Cycling will be hosting their 10th annual Santa Charity Cycle in aid of Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.

Each year they have between 100-150 cycling Santas riding the short route between Richmond and Hampton to deliver gifts to the children at the hospice with life-limiting illnesses. Since starting this journey with Shooting Star, Njinga have delivered over 5000 Christmas presents to the kids and raised thousands of pounds for this fantastic charity. It’s an incredibly special day and a highlight to see the smiles on the children’s faces who may not make another Christmas. This year they have something super special planned to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. They hope you can join them?

It’s FREE to enter, all you need to do is dress up as Santa and bring a suitable gift for a child (details on the website). In return, riders will receive complimentary hot drinks and refreshments at the start, will be escorted along the route by motorbike outriders and Njinga Ride Captains and receive a free bacon roll and teas and coffees at the finish at the Turks Head pub in Twickenham.

Open to anyone who can ride a bike over the age of 12 (must be accompanied by an adult).
