Just so we’re clear, OTB in chess lingo stands for ‘Over The Board’ – in other words, actual irl chess played with real boards, real pieces, real people and one of those cool chess clocks that you have to hit after your move. What will they think of next?
This is a great way to learn, practise and play chess for free and also to meet a completely eclectic mix of people who actually enjoy thinking. Give your brain a boost, but wrap up warm – most venues are outdoors.
