Our former Olympic city pays tribute to this year’s hosts, in suitably colourful style. To celebrate this years Olympic and Paralympic games Dalston will be alive with international film, music, sports screenings and street food. Various venues across the area will be bursting with international sounds, visuals and flavours.
Highlights include free big screens showing major events including the Men’s Road Race and Beach Volleyball. Non-sport based events include a screening of City of God, whose director Fernando Meirelles was a creative director of the Rio Opening Ceremony.
