Scandinavian Christmas Market

Londoners are still embracing the Danish concept of ‘hygge‘ this winter. Pronounced ‘hoo-gah’, it’s all about getting cosy and enjoying the warm glow of simple things. If that’s your thing, this is the perfect spot to get out and enjoy a little pre-festive season wandering. The Scandinavian Christmas Market has stalls filled with edible (and thirst-quenching) Scandi treats from likes of Fine and Scandi, and Finn deli.

Christmas shopping on a budget? Save some coinage (and delivery miles) by supporting independent retailers. Pick up hand made textiles and homeware from Nordic Nic Nac, calendars and greeting cards from Sven Comics and an assortment of vintage clothes, homeware and books from the Up Market Community Charity Shop.

The market hasn’t returned since the arrival of COVID-19 and there haven’t been any announcmenets on a return for 2021, but we remain hopeful!

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, many events have been canceled. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
