With one of the most impressive backdrops and simplest pricing systems, the Tower of London skating rink has it all. With an even bigger rink this year, the moat is the perfect place for a romantic glide across the ice, with ravens watching from above and children clutching penguins surrounding you. Sessions last 45 minutes and skate rental is included. They suggest you arrive 30 minutes early to make sure you’re fitted and ready to go when your time slot starts.
Prices vary slightly based on peak and off-peak timeslots. Adult tickets cost £17.20 and children under 12 cost £12.70. Last year there were small discounts for OAPs, those on Jobseeker’s allowance and students. Family tickets are available for £47.20(two adults, two children or one adult, three children).
The cloak room costs a rather cheeky £2.00 per item.
