Enjoy a free celebration of Sikh culture and heritage at Trafalgar Square for Vaisakhi, one of the biggest festivals in the Sikh calendar, which marks the birth of modern day Sikhism.
Indoor and outdoor events will include shabad kirtan (spiritual music), langar (food), cooking demonstrations from leading chefs, turban tying, folk dance, martial arts, children’s activities and a display of Sikh art.
There’s a varied line-up of entertainment and live performances including music, dance, dhol drumming and Gatka, the traditional Sikh martial art. You can also enjoy complimentary snacks and a cup of Indian tea.
